I have just begun completely rewinding single coil pickups, most recently a bridge pickup from a 1962 Stratocaster to it's original specs. This involved stripping the pickup of its original copper wire, cleaning and relacquering the magnets and flatwork, winding new copper wire and wax potting the pickup. I'm sure that humbuckers will soon follow. Please feel free to contact me for more information.
